The Reading Detectives http://www.readingdetectives.org/ is an exciting reading project from England which is managed by The Reading Agency http://www.readingagency.org.uk

The idea of the project is that several teams of "Reading Detectives" from local libraries uncover books which are about their area and the people living there. Each team blogs and maps their finds on the web site. There are also displays of the finds and related events in their local libraries.
